Tonight at dinner, our waitress gave Graham the "best behaved kid" award! We were proud parents :)

12 days left...

We can't wait to get completely moved to Ankeny...12 more days! This little guy is pretty anxious!

Brian's Birthday!!

We celebrated by packing for our big move!! He was awfully thrilled! We did order his favorite take-n-bake pizza for dinner and got rocky road ice cream.

My (mom/Megan) birthday!

I had a great birthday yesterday! Started off with breakfast at work from my supervisor, then out to lunch with a friend, pizza for dinner with Graham and Brian followed by cake with candles!! Brian and I went to get our joint birthday gift, a Kuerig coffee maker!! LOVE IT!!! Thanks for all the birthday calls, texts, and emails! It was a wonderful day and 28 feels just like 27!

Cookout at the Jones'

Graham had a great time hanging out with his buddy, Ethan. He was awfully cuddly with Esla. He must be feeling her "motherly" vibe as she is 29 weeks pregnant :). The sparklers brought back some good childhood memories! He was asleep before we made it to the first stop sign on our way home. Hope everyone had a great Independence Day, we sure did!

Back to Memphis

Unlike the drive to Chicago, we are doing the return trip in one day! It will take us 10 1/2 hours! Poor Graham looks awfully uncomfortable! I think he will enjoy being home in his crib!

Chicago Aquarium

Our last full day in Chicago was Saturday. We decided to take in the Shedd's Aquarium. The Aquarium was huge and Graham actually paid attention to all the animals. His favorite exhibit was the one was a giant turtle. Every time the turtle swam by, Graham would laugh out loud and pound on the glass! It was hilarious!! We bought him a little stuffed turtle (and named him Yertle) from the gift shop in remembrance of the trip. As soon as we walked out of the aquarium Graham passed out...seems to be a common theme this week! After the aquarium we went to a restaurant that made funny hats...Graham was a hit with all the waiters! Ever since Graham was about 5 months, we have given him water from a straw when we go out to dinner and he LOVES it!! We are on our way back to Memphis...Chicago was a blast, but we are ready for our final 27 days in Memphis :)
