Boat Adventures

We are loving being so close to a lake with this boat!  Makes for some convenient outings!  I had to learn on the fly how to drive it this weekend, as the lake was far too busy for us to tie up to the dock and have Brian run back and forth with the trailer.  It was a bit stressful, but Brian said I was a natural!

Can you tell which one is most excited about the tube and water guns??  

Landon is always a little uneasy on the boat.  He doesn't venture too far away from me!  I put him in this seat for a couple seconds so I could get the camera.  He was right back on my lap about 1 minute later!  Poor kid was at the zoo for 2 hours before nap and then out in the sun on the boat after nap!  I think he was all "outdoored" out!

Brian took the boys to the mall yesterday and let them play in the "play area" since it was so rainy outside.  Landon decided he did not want to sit in his seat, but was ok being strolled around in this position.  Not sure how safe that was, but nobody wants to deal with a grumpy Landon.  He is certainly our most stubborn child, so far!

Once again...they are starting to resemble each other more and more (nose, lips)

When Daddy and Graham are away...Mommy and Landon will play!

Father's Day

This is how Brian and Graham woke up on Father's Day.

Graham's last day of blast ball...and more...

This past weekend was Graham's last weekend of blast ball, his first "organized" team sport.  

It was an amusing 7 weeks!!

Landon ran out on the field a few times...wanted to play with big brother.

No wonder they are always rosy!

It was our 7 year anniversary on Sunday.  Wow has time flown!

Not sure we have really danced together since this day!!  

Neither one of us are the dancing type!

Our Anniversary present was 2 sleeping children on the way back to Ankeny from our weekend in Algona/Whittemore...

...too bad it only lasted for about 30 minutes!

Graham's first project for Preschool in the Fall.

Landon learned a new trick last night...climbing the ladder of the bunkbeds.

Only problem, he can't climb down!

This little sweetie sneaks in our room around 3:00 am or so every morning...he loves to cuddle!

First boat ride of the season!

Filling his water gun.  Nobody fell in on our first ride, but Graham fell in the water on our second outing doing just this!  Life jackets are quite possibly the best invention ever!!  Drowning is one of this momma's worst fears!

Landon was completely relaxed during the ride and reverted back to his baby cuddle days!  I loved it!!!
