Trick or Treat!

Graham was a pirate...a somewhat crabby pirate.  He refused to wear his hat and wouldn't let me or Brian walk with him most of the time.  He was more excited about our doorbell ringing and GIVING out the candy than he was GETTING his own candy.  Don't get me wrong though, he ate a lot of candy!

Little Ms. Kendall was the most adorable pink and grey cheetah!  She was most excited about the suckers!

Landon slept through the entire walk (the 20 minutes or so that it was until Graham and Kendall got fussy!). He was a little tiger.  As usual, not a peep out of him :)

Ankeny had beggar's night tonight and Grimes has it tomorrow (town where Lin and Adam live, for my TN friends) so we will see how round 2 goes tomorrow night!

Shapes

Shelly has been working on shapes with the kids at daycare.  Graham knows trapezoid, rhombus, crescent, among all the standard shapes!  He was eating wheat thins yesterday and said "TRAPEZOID" really loud when he realized what his wheat thin looked like after taking a few bites :)

Weekend in Okoboji

We had a great weekend in Okoboji!  It is definitely starting to feel more like Fall, and I LOVE that!  We had family pictures taken outside...can't wait to see how they turned out!!  We are on the road back to Ankeny and both boys are snoozing!  Here are some pictures from our weekend...

Thank goodness for technology to keep this 2 year old entertained for our 3 1/2 hour drive to see grandma and grandpa Schuneman.  Landon needs no entertainment :)

I am going to be sick of Curious George and Little Einsteins by the end!  I am sitting between the boys...easier than turning around to assist every 2 seconds!

10 hours....

...of sleep last night for this little love bug!!!!

I then had to take him to his 2 month check-up where he received 4 shots!  Poor little guy!

Happy 2 months Landon!!

Our little bundle of joy blessed us with 2 straight nights of 8 hours of sleep!!!  Graham also stayed in his bed until 6:00 am both nights!!  Hope I did not just jinx us for tonight!!  

So many people ask us if Landon looks like Graham at this age...well here is a comparison.  My personal opinion is that Graham resembles the Bormann side and Landon resembles the Petersen side.
