Zoo fun!

Last weekend the VanOtterloos and Grandma Bormann were in town!!!  It is so much fun watching the kids play together!

Our weekend in St. Louis...part 2

Day 2 consisted of playtime at a park right across the street from our hotel and a Cardinals vs Dodgers game...

These two sweeties are 6 weeks apart in age (Landon being older)

After the baseball game we met up with 2 of our best friends from Memphis, who currently live in St. Louis.  We were having so much fun that I forgot to take a picture with them, so here's a "throwback" from 2011 after Graham was born :)

Our weekend in St Louis...part 1

We headed for St. Louis on Thursday after work and pulled in to our hotel around 11:00 pm Thursday night.  The next day we spent the majority of the day at the St. Louis zoo.  It is definitely my favorite zoo!!!  We were fortunate enough to meet some of our Memphis friends there and spent the weekend with them!   

2 hours in and still happy!!!

Can't wait to get to St. Louis!!!

Less than 2 hours left!  Thank goodness for DVD players!!

And he's out!

He may appear quiet and sweet now, but he woke up about 10 minutes before we got to the hotel...and he was anything but quiet!!  Small but fierce!!

Post zoo walk to the car...we found Graham St!  This was the most excitement we could muster from the little Mr.  He got a hippo stuffed animal...had a meltdown in the gift shop because we couldn't find a hippo at first!

Landon is 11 months!!!

Landon is 11 months old!!

-Likes...

...anything the rest of us are eating!  He will literally eat/try anything!!  (Some of what he eats is pretty impressive since he only has 2 teeth!)

...Team Umi Zoomi (kid show that he likes bc Graham watches it!)

...being tickled

...playing with all Graham's toys and ignoring his own toys

...jumping on the bed (we were in St Louis this weekend and had a jumping contest!)

Dislikes...

...riding in the car!  

...telling him "no" when he's doing something naughty

...when mom/dad walk out of the room

What's new:

-pulling himself up to his knees, and his feet some too!

-back to being an AWESOME sleeper!!  Sleeps in his bed without any crying for about 11-12 hours every night!

-he knows how to use a straw!

-screaming at mom and dad when he doesn't get what he wants!

-pretty much refuses to eat all baby food at this point.

Typical schedule:

-wake up at 8:00 am

-bottle (4 oz)

-cereal and fruit immediately after along more table foods!!!  He LOVES breakfast!!

-nap 9:30 am (about 2 hour)

-lunch around 12:00 - table food

-bottle 1:00 pm (4 oz)

-nap 1:30 pm (about 2 hours)

-bottle 4:00 pm (4 oz)

-supper around 5:30 pm - table foods

-bath at 7:00 pm

-bottle (4 oz) at 7:45 pm

-bed around 8:00 pm

We can't wait to celebrate this little peanut's FIRST birthday in 2 weeks!!!

Our 30th birthday weekend!

Since Brian and I were born 3 days apart, it's always fun to celebrate our birthdays together!  We headed to Minneapolis to spend some time with Kenny and Glori.  Here are some snapshots from our weekend...

We headed to a Mexican restaurant for lunch, stopped quickly at a baby shop, and headed for home so the little man could snooze!
