Introducing our new lil peanut...Landon Scott Petersen

We have had Landon for almost 4 weeks now.  He is an amazing addition to our family (although I continue to get more outnumbered!). He sleeps well and hardly fusses!  More importantly, Graham loves him to pieces (and we do too!!!!!)  Here are some of the many pictures we have taken so far...

Only about 1 hour old here.  He weighed 8 lb 13 oz and was 20 3/4" long.

Cuddle time is the best!

Aunt Lin...or graham would call her "Aunt Yin"

Grandma Bormann and Daddy introducing Graham to Landon for the first time.  Graham wanted nothing to do with me!  I think he was wary of all I was hooked up to.

Graham getting a gift from his new brother, Landon (attempting to foster positive feelings)

He finally warmed up to me and agreed to sit with me for awhile.  He mainly just wanted to play with the buttons that change the position of the bed.

Giving Landon a hug (or using him as a pillow)

Getting footprints

First bath...hardly any tears!

Grandma Schuneman and her boys.

Wide awake...didn't happen very often.  He enjoys his rest!

Proud big brother :)

Both boys love their daddy.

Need a closer look at him!

All ready to go home as a family of four!!

Heading home!

Thank you to all our hospital visitors!  We did not take a picture with everyone, but we appreciated those that took time to come see us!!  We also appreciate the ones who have come and seen us since we have been home.  We are very blessed!!

Balloon Festival

One of our last outings before Landon was born was to Indianola for their annual Hot Air Balloon Festival.  We went with our neighbors, Zach and Taylor and their kids Calvin and Campbell.  Graham loved the big balloons!  We will probably make that an annual tradition!

This is the face he gives when asked, "Graham, can I see your eyes?"

Already arranged his marriage to Campbell :)

Graham turned two!!!

Although this was about a month ago and we took all the pictures on our nice big camera, here are some shots of a few of the presents he received."  His birthday was held at the park close to our house and all his aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and even one great grandparent were there!  Graham had a blast!

Back in the swing of blogging!

I didn't mean to take off 5 weeks of blogging our life.  My life was being consumed by many other things!  So I'm going back and blogging some milestones that I don't want to miss (since I get this blog printed)!!

This was taken on July 3rd at the Iowa Cubs baseball game.  They played the Memphis Redbirds, of all teams!  Memphis won that game, but our hometown boy, Brad Nelson (plays for the I-cubs but is from Algona) did hit a homer, so that was fun.

Graham absolutely LOVED the fireworks that night...
