Algona Football

My brother in-law coaches football for our hometown high school team.  Graham and I were able to make it to one of his games!  Once again...he agrees to go if we hit up the concession stand!

Graham and cousin Kendall

Graham wanted to sit next to Alison during the game.

The best picture he would take with me...ugh!

ISU Exhibition game

Brian took Graham to the Cyclones' Exhibition game and needless to say Graham was in heaven thanks to 4 or 5 trips to the concession stand!

This made Mom jealous...Clone cones are the best!!

Excited for basketball season to start!!  GO CYCLONES!!!

Fun at the Farm

A few weeks back we spent the weekend at the Bormann Farm.  It's always a fun time!!  Lots of train and lawnmower rides!

This was the first time Landon was brave enough to ride!!

Graham loves spending time with his cousins :)

Fun with Great Grandpa & Grandma Shipler

We were lucky enough to have some visitors a couple weekends ago, Great Grandpa & Grandma Shipler!  It's always nice when they come and visit us!  The kids LOVE playing with them :)

Great Grandpa got a lot of squawks out of little Blythe.

She is a very loved little girl...very lucky!

Great Grandma & Blythe having a conversation :)

Yes, the boys were running around too, but I didn't manage to take any pictures :(

Come back and visit again soon!

Blythe is 3 months

As usual, I am a little late in posting, although the photo was actually taken on time!!!

This little sweet pea has been in our family for 3 months now...crazy!!  Landon is still not getting used to her being around and her crying can set him into what we call "pit bull" mode!  You hope you aren't within a few feet or he might attack!  Some day we will laugh at this I'm sure.  Like my mom  always says, "this too shall pass!"

What Blythe is doing now:
-Sleeping 10-12 hours uninterrupted!!  Most weekends she is the last Petersen up!  For those of you that know my kids' sleeping habits, that is really saying something!

-She is talking/squawking a lot!  So much that I can't hear the television sometimes!

-Ellie (her cousin) got her to laugh for the first time! (playing patty cake)

-She doesn't enjoy sitting in the baby swing anymore, she prefers to lay on the floor or sit in her bouncer.

Here are some pictures of her from the past month:

All smiles!

So serious with that baby mohawk!

So precious!!

Happy to wear her first headband!
(Kept falling into her eyes...we haven't tried one since!)

She's not a huge fan of tummy time.

She's pretty perfect!!

Just hanging out with Mom while she washes my bottles.

SO ready for bedtime!

Deep concentration here.

3 months and SO happy about it :)

The love this boy has for his sister is so sweet!
I think she has 2 big brothers that will always look out for her!
