Graham's Field Day!

Graham had Field Day at school and Brian was able to go out and watch some of it!!  Can't believe this school year is coming to an end already and we will have a first grader next year!!  

Hello Again

I've been MIA the past couple months...life gets in the way sometimes and I don't find as much time as I used to!!!  Here are some highlights from our last couple months!!! 

Graham broke his arm falling off the monkey bars in our backyard!!  His cast is off now, but has to wear a brace for about 1 more week! 

        

That did not stop him from starting the baseball season!!

    

As for our child who is not a fan of getting his picture taken...I think we have turned a corner ;)

Autographs some some of the boys' (or should I say Brian's!) favorite ISU football players!

       

Learning to read might be the highlight of Kindergarten for Graham!  He reads to Landon and Blythe and is pretty proud of that!!  

Fun times at birthday parties!!

Was there a bike involved in this scenario??  No.  She just wanted to wear her helmet around (AND a tutu)!!!  She is our most strong-willed child!!

Spring Break 2018

Well we were not on a sandy beach or even across state lines, but that doesn't mean we (mainly Dad and the kids since Mom worked) didn't have fun!!  We went swimming in a hotel in Des Moines with cousins, jumped around at Sky Zone, visited the science center, saw animals at the zoo, went to Bass Pro Shop and looked around, 3 great checkups at the dentist, all 3 kids ate pizza (might be the first time ever!!!), and a lunch trip to McDonalds!  We closed our weekend by staying at the VanOtterloos for a night and celebrating Peyton's birthday!  

It was a great week!!!

I took Landon with me to my hair appointment, while my color was processing, he got his hair cut.  Emily (my friend and hair dresser) took this picture :)  He wanted to hold hands while I got my hair washed!!  Some day he won't want to hold my hand in public...I will soak it in while I can!!!!
